How convenient that this would surface for our viewing pleasure. This is indeed an innocent child, but I don't think she feels that the public considers her “a pig that needs straightening out”. I think if anything, she is embarrassed that the public now knows how her father acts when he gets angry. Lets also remember that the reason Kim Bassinger filled for divorce in the first place was because Alec Baldwin was allegedly abusive. I think this tape proves that he does have an explosive temper that Kim, his daughter and the court system should be worried about. Lets face reality here, kids are always put in the middle of a divorce even though it's incredibly cruel and confusing for them. In any case, yes the media is wrong for jumping on the bad dad bandwagon, but it has us talking doesn't it....
