If you are seeing this post, then the cyber move has taken effect. I believe I managed to move everything over to the new system without any interruption in service, meaning you should have never noticed any downtime of my site. The one thing I didn’t move was the photo gallery. My old hosting company broke the program and I didn’t want to waste time trying to fix it, I just figured it would be better to start that over as we have all the pictures. I did upgrade the gallery program and the plug-in so now there will be a gallery link at the top of the page, and when visiting our gallery, the header will remain so it is easy to return to this page by clicking the home button.
Again, if you see any problems, broken links, etc. Please email me so I can fix it.

That got your attention! No we aren’t moving from our house, but we are moving in Cyber world! My website has been hosted by Ipower for several years now and they haven’t been too bad (though in the past 6 months I have begun wondering about them) However I now have three distinct web accounts as well as some other add on domains and it has become economical to start my own hosting. I now have a reseller account under gtbhost.com and I am in the process of moving things to the new servers.
So what does all this mean? Well if everything goes as I planned, then you may see an outage of this site for a day or two at most. We should still receive all Emails without interruption, however if you do get an error after sending an email, just try again in a day. Once I am done moving everything, all will be back to normal. You will still visit us at www.thebeckerhome.com and all email addresses will be the same. So we are moving in Cyberworld, but the new cyber home will look and feel just like the old one!
Oh, and by the way, if you would like your own web site, let me know. I can sell you space and domain names.

I know I have been lacking in getting posts. Sorry, but life has been very busy. With 3 classes at school, working, and starting our new business… Well you get the picture. Not much time left to blog!
Jennifer has learned how to updload pictures to our photo gallery. I have taken the old gallery down and installed a new gallery program. There is a link in the right column to take you to the new photo gallery. Check it out! Jennifer did a good job and she will add more now that she sees how easy it is!
The Becker Store (Link at top of page) is up now. I still have some bugs to work out, so on some monitor resolutions, the screen may not look as nice. I put scroll bars in so those with resolutions making it hard to see, can scroll left and right, as well as up and down. It is hard finding a nice compromise with so many computer variations in the world, but I will try to make it look nicer in the future. Let me know items you think would be good sellers and I will add them to the store.
We are in business. Still waiting on our business cards. Check out our business web site, Seaoffun.com. Give our name and info to everybody you know! Even if they aren’t looking for a cruise. We can arrange other inclusive vacation packages also! Our business phone number is 610-871-0951 or toll free 1-866-294-0463. Our website has the phone numbers listed if you forget.
I am looking forward to a vacation from school and work! I will have two and half weeks off from both, so it should do me some good. Jennifer and I will be taking a cruise to the Caribbean for a week, and we will spend a few days with my mother after the cruise. New Years will be celebrated at home. Lori is planning on bringing Alexander up, so that should be some fun. I hope to spend some time with Isabella over the holidays as well. Looking forward to it.
Merry Christmas to everybody and have a safe holiday season!!

Jennifer and I spent the last week in Florida learning the Cruise Planners business. It was an exciting but busy week. We were able to perform four cruise ship inspections during the week. We are now ready to begin booking your next vacation, so give us a call. We have a business phone with a toll free number set up, a website www.seaoffun.com, and we have a mailing address in Allentown. Our next step is getting our business cards so we can send each of you one. As soon as we get our email aliases setup to use the seaoffun domain, we will order those. So, check our site out and ask us questions. The more you ask, the more we learn so we can help you and others!

Either way, I will take care of your travel and give you tips and recommendations, etc. and I will watch the rates for you to make sure you get the best deal.
I am looking forward to getting the business started. Jennifer and I both will attend a training course in November to learn the travel business and learn to perform cruise ship inspections. So if your interested in cruising, let me know and you will surely hear from me by the end of November!
